Basically, we all know that we can't save the WhatsApp status images or videos which are uploaded by our friends and siblings etc... Even if suppose there's an option for saving image based status with the help of taking screen shots only it supports only for some of the phones not all.
Also, there are some applications in Google play store to save WhatsApp status in different OS of either Android or I phone etc... which is completely waste of memory space that installing those apps and also there are some paid apps which are completely waste of use.
Step 1: Goto Whatsapp and open status tab and download all contact whatsapp status and view it once.
Step 2: Come back and Goto File Manager or File Explorer (Devices like Moto E and Vivo devices which don't have file manager they can download and install file explorer from Google Play Store) on your device whatever you have, Then search for Whatsapp Folder and open it. You will find two folders on it 1st as Databases and 2nd as Media.
Step 3: Open second folder by name Media and there you will find 8 sub folders. goto options tab, It depends on which device you use as (Moto, Sam sung, Red mi or Nokia etc...) I am using red mi so I have 3 horizontal dots like this (...) click on it and you will find option like Show hidden files.
Step 4: Click on Show hidden files option and you will find one extra folder in Media folder by name " .Statuses "
Step 5: Open that .Statuses folder there you will find all whatsapp contacts status images and videos. to which you can copy or cut and paste to other folders and save it.
Below in the video, i have shown one cool trick which may help users to download and save any ones WhatsApp statuses without any applications and no any root is needed.
